Special Events


The Academy appreciates the many individuals, companies and organizations who host fundraising events of all sizes to raise money for AAD programs. These events have included golf outings, dinners, bike rides, 5K runs, museum events, marathons and more.

If you are interested in raising money to benefit Academy programs, please contact us to discuss your event before making any arrangements. Fundraising events are governed by Academy policies and must be approved in advance. Pre-approval is also required for all uses of the Academy’s name or logo.

 

Many events were held in 2011 to raise money for AAD Camp Discovery. AAD member Cyndi J. Yag-Howard, MD, FAAD participated in the New York City marathon and encouraged her family, friends, and colleagues to support her run by making a donation to Camp Discovery. See complete list of 2011 events.
