Annual Gifts

Annual gifts provide the foundation for charitable support of Academy programs. These gifts are counted on year after year to support our mission of excellence. Annual gifts have helped the Academy and our members to:

• Provide 246 grants to schools and other organizations to erect shade structures that protect nearly 558,500 people each day from harmful UV rays.
• Raise awareness about the dangers of tanning beds and their link to melanoma, the most deadly form of skin cancer.
• Use technology to deliver educational resources that help you stay abreast of the constantly growing field of knowledge about dermatology.
• Foster self-confidence through life-changing, fun-filled summer camp adventures for children with chronic skin conditions who would otherwise be unable to participate in this rite of childhood.
